Q. When is Check in and Check Out?

A. Check In is at 3:00 pm and Check Out is at 11:00 am.

Q. Is it possible to Check in early?

A: We will try to accommodate early Check Ins if at all possible, but we do need time to get the rooms cleaned and ready for your arrival!  Please feel free to park in the parking spot designated for your room after 11:30PM and have a stroll around Idyllwild. The Fireside is a gentle 5 minute walk to most everything in town!

Q. Is my dog allowed? 

A. We love pets! There is a 35 dollar charge per pet.  

Q. Does every room have a fireplace?

A. Yes!  Isn’t that great!

Q. What about firewood?

A.  Please visit the Village Market or Mountain Mike prior to your stay. They sell wood for 10 a bundle.

Q.  Does the kitchen have a coffee maker?  Is there coffee?

A. Every room has instant canyon coffee.

Q. Can I bring my own charcoal grill?  

A. Only propane grills are allowed on the hill. We have two new one’s in our garden area for our guests to use.

Q: Is it snowing? Should I bring chains? 

A: Please check the weather (link above) and if there is a chance of snow do bring chains as a precaution. We do not know what the CHP will ask for to get up this mountain!

Q.  What is the WIFI code?

Q. How does this darn TV work? 

A.  Please refer to the instruction sheet in the Guest Manual in the room. 

Q. Is there maid service during my stay?

A. No there is no maid service but it can be arranged if you like for an additional charge of $ 20-25 dollars.

Q. Where should I eat and what should do while in Idyllwild? 
A. Please refer to our house manual in your room where you can find lots of answers to your questions!
